Active Member Status - members get funding for Regional & National Conferences!!
To attain member status:
Attend a MINIMUM of 2 meetings
Participate in at least 4 AIChE activities (socials, service, buying a polo, working on a committee, etc)
Regionals - March 10-12 (the first weekend of spring break)

There will be a ChemE car competition and a research paper competition.
Have a research paper? Turn it into cash! Submitt your paper to be sent to the Regional Conference. Papers will be judged by professors and the top 3 will go to regionals! They must be submitted by Feb 10.
To go to regionals, leave a CHECK of $50 made out to University of Florida/AIChE in the AIChE mailbox before Feb 3 or give them to Josh. Late registrations is between Feb 3 and Feb 21 and will cost $60. With the check, attach a piece of paper w/ your name, shirt size and food preference (veggie, chicken or beef?)
EFair - Help run experiments and teach little kids about math and science! To help out contact Katie @ kwysocki@ufl.edu.
EBowl - AIChE has the opportunity to participate in a math-science quiz bowl as part of Engineers Week 2006. Interested members will form 4 person teams and compete against other societies. To get involved, contact Katie at kwysocki@ufl.edu.
